Money tracking
for freelancers.
Freelancers end up asking the same few questions about money. Who still owes me? How much should I put aside for taxes? How long could I go without new work? Ledger answers those on the first screen instead of burying them in reports.

Design notes
Numbers first.
It’s dark slate with a mint accent, set entirely in SF Pro. Every figure uses tabular digits so columns line up. Color always means something: mint is money in, coral is overdue, amber is due soon. I left out serif headings and illustrations on purpose. In a finance app the numbers should be the loudest thing on screen.

Overview
Balance, a chart you can scrub through, this month’s money in and out, the tax reserve, and invoices that are late or due soon.
Activity
Every transaction, grouped by day. Search by merchant or invoice number, or filter to money in or out.
Plan
How many months your cash would last with no new income, with the math shown underneath. Below that: the next estimated tax payment and savings goals.
About this prototype
This is my own concept, not a real product. I designed it and built it in SwiftUI with help from AI coding tools. The screenshots and the video come straight from the iOS simulator. All the numbers are made up, and nothing connects to a bank.
It runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. On iOS 26 and up, the tab bar picks up Liquid Glass.
