A logbook for
bouldering projects.
A hard boulder problem can take weeks of sessions. Crux keeps track of that progress: which moves you’ve linked, how many attempts you’ve put in and what to try next time. It also covers hangboard training and a calendar of every session.

Design notes
Readable from across the mat.
It’s dark so it’s easy on the eyes between attempts, and acid yellow only shows up on things worth noticing: the grade, your high point, the start button. Grades and stats use a condensed heavy weight, like numbers on a scoreboard. Everything else is plain SF Pro. The route diagram started as decoration and ended up as the main tool. Solid lines are moves you’ve linked; dashed ones are what’s left.

About this prototype
This is my own concept, not a real product. I designed it and built it in SwiftUI with help from AI coding tools. The screenshots and the video come straight from the iOS simulator. Routes, sessions and training numbers are sample data. There’s no wearable or sensor connected.
It runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. On iOS 26 and up, the tab bar picks up Liquid Glass.
